Chris Bauer is the Lead Producer and founder of OFF LEASH PRODUCTIONS. He has more than 20 years experience working in broadcast television and multimedia production; producing sports, history, technology, science, environment, natural history and adventure related programming. He is the first and only producer to win two international Society of Environmental Journalists Awards for Outstanding Television Story and has also received multiple Northern California Emmy Awards. Among his other honors, he has won three consecutive Society of Professional Journalists Awards and a national Science Writing Award. In addition to broadcast and the web, some of his recent stories have also been featured in the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, the BLUE Ocean Film Festival, the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival, the United Nations Association Film Festival, the Environmental Film Festival in Washington DC and many others.

Chris has written, produced and directed multiple television series, documentaries, specials and hundreds of long and short-format TV stories. He is always willing to get dirty, lose sleep, risk frostbite or endure seasickness to capture and create great TV!
